PURPOSE:To obtain magnetic liquid having high saturated magnitization by mixing cobalt metal particles, a hydrocarbon series medium and fatty ester of polyglycerin or sorbitan. CONSTITUTION:The solution obtained by dissolving decaglyceryl heptaoleate of 12g into kerosine medium of 30g is put into a flask and added with octacarbonyl cobalt of 120g. While this mixed solution is heated and circulated, cobalt carbonyl is subjected to heat decomposition. In this time, Co is produced. The solution is continuously stirred for about 30min after completion of production of CO and then it is cooled. |
