In order to simplify and speed up the production of a wave winding, according to a first type of manufacture it is proposed that, after at least one unformed winding (48) (see Fig. 4) has been wound, lying in a plane (35), a stripping-off stroke be carried out on this winding, by means of a swashplate (24), axially along first and second forming elements (14, 16). As a result of each of these continuous stripping-off strokes after laying each winding, the radial deformation in the form of a wave is enhanced, and the deformation of the wave winding is thus brought about. The completely formed winding is pushed onto the holder (20) with a final stripping-off stroke. In the case of a second type of manufacture, Fig. 3, the entire unformed, prewound winding is pressed in the axial direction with only one final stripping-off stroke, by means of a stripper (18), by the outer forming elements (16), and in consequence formed into a wave winding. <IMAGE> |
