This relates to a polyacetal resin composition used in the presence of nitrogen oxides, and audio and video recorder parts using this polyacetal resin. This polyacetal is composed of polyacetal resin 100 wt.pts., hindered phenolic compd. 0.001-5 wt.pts. and zinc compd. 0.001-5 wt.pts. The above zinc compd. acts as a nitrogen oxides removing agent. This polyacetal resin may contain 0.001-10 wt.pts. of antistatic agent.
