PURPOSE:To make uneven the bottom surface of an FRP bathtub and others on site, easily, in a short time, and at low costs. CONSTITUTION:The surface 1A of an FRP product 1 is roughened, and the roughened part 1B is coated with an uncured resin liquid 4. After particles, which are soluble in water and not soluble or hardly soluble in the resin liquid, being deposited on the surface of the resin liquid 4, the resin liquid is cured to form a cured resin layer. The cured resin layer 6 is then washed with water to remove the particles by dissolution. In this way, the cured resin layer is formed which has an irregular surface produced by the removal of the particles. The cured resin layer, since it is formed on the roughened part of the surface of the FRP product, has high adhesion to the FRP product to be hardly peeled off. In spite of its irregularities, the surface of the cured resin layer, as it still remains as a resin surface, can be cleaned easily from stains. Nonslip-treatment can also be done easily on site for the bottom surface of an FRP bathtub. |
