PURPOSE:To prevent infiltration leak between layers positively and inhibit a part of the end face from bulging out axially at the mounting time. CONSTITUTION:Tape like packing base material 1 formed of expanded graphite is wound adhesively in spiral shape plural times and pressurized from the width direction to form a ring packing. In this ring packing, complicated folded parts 1e, 1f overlapped along the radial direction by compression from both width direction side so as to cover both axial end faces of a packing M in the laminated state are formed at both width direction end parts of the packing base material 1. |
