PURPOSE:To enable a lead shape to be easily adjusted as necessary and improve the convenience for use of a writing utensil by a method wherein, in a cap of the writing utensil for cosmetics such as eye shadow, etc., a lead sharpener for sharpening the lead by inserting the writing utensil into the cap to rotate it therein is provided in the main body of the cap. CONSTITUTION:A cap 10 which is capped on the tip part of a feed type writing utensil 12 and protects the lead of the writing utensil 12 from being broken, is snap-fitted with cooperation of a spring 13 and a groove 14 when it is capped on the writing utensil 12. A lead shanpener 15 is provided in the main body 11 of the cap 10. The lead sharpener 15 has projections 16, 16 provided on the sides of the lower end portion of the cap, and each projection 16 is fitted in each vertical groove 18 of a rear member 17 fixed to the inside of the main body 11 of the cap, whereby the cap is not allowed to rotate but made directly movable in a vertical direction to be pushed up by a spring 19. When the lead of the writing utensil 12 is sharpened, the writing utensil 12 is inserted into the cap 10 to be rotated in the inside of the main body 11 of the cap, whereby the lead is sharpened by the lead sharpener 15. |
