OPERATION OF CONTINUOUS HEATING FURNACE HAVING REGENERATIVE TYPE BURNER

PURPOSE:To improve the temp. controllability and the thermal efficiency by suppressing the rapid pressure variation in a furnace. CONSTITUTION:Plural pairs of burners at each heating zone B are controlled by shifting the timings of each ignition and each estinguish of the fire in plural pairs of burners so that each burner in the plural pairs does not synchronously start or complete the combustion. The temp. of the combustion exhaust gas at the time of exhausting after passing each regenerator is measured at the downstream side of each regenerator. The combustion gas only from the burner whose gas temp. measured is lower than the setting temp., is exhausted through a blower controlled in the number of rotation based on the pressure in the furnace. On the other hand, in the case the measured temps. of all burners exceed the setting temp., the combustion exhaust gas is exhausted through a flue 2 having a damper 3 arranged in each heating zone B.
