PURPOSE:To obtain a container where a sample does not crack after pressure forming by forming a cup-type container with synthetic resin which is pressed along with a power sample by pressurization. CONSTITUTION:A power sample retaining container 1 for analysis is a cup-type container and is formed by a synthetic resin which can be pressed, for example, vinyl chloride and thermosetting resin by pressing along with a filled powder sample 2. For performing compaction forming of the powder material 2, the container 1 with the sample 2 is placed on a piston 10 inside a hole 12 with the piston 10 and the cylinder 11 being placed on a fitting stand 15. In this state, a pressed surface 14 is allowed to oppose the upper surface of the container 1 and a compression base 13 is placed on the cylinder 11 and the container 1 is sandwiched between the pressed surface 14 and the piston 10 before inversion of upper and lower parts. Then, while the fitting stand 15 is eliminated. the piston 10 is pressed by hydraulic press. thus performing compaction forming of the sample 2 and the container 1 to obtain a solid sample. |
