PRODUCTION OF OLEFIN OLIGOMER

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a process for the production of an olefin oligomer, having flexibility in the selection of raw materials and giving an olefin oligomer having properties comparable to those of conventional olefin oligomer produced from 1-decene. CONSTITUTION:An olefin oligomer is produced by polymerizing a 10C olefin and a 8-12C olefin mixture containing <10C olefin and >10C olefin in the presence of a catalyst containing boron trifluoride and a complex of boron trifluoride and a cocatalyst.
