<p>An integrally molded double cap (50) container is produced by an injection blow molding process wherein a parison (126) is formed by an injection molding process, the parison having solid components including an orifice cap (52), a sealing cap (54), and a finish portion (60), the parison and the integral solid components being transferred as a unit to a blow molding apparatus (104, 105) for expanding the parison to form the blow molded container body. The integrally molded container includes a tamper indicating system molded integrally with the container closure, the tamper indicating system (57) having a securing tab (66) adapted to be permanently secured to the container after the container has been filled and closed to secure the sealing cap to the container preventing removal of the sealing cap unless connection between the sealing cap and the securing tab is broken, providing a visual indication that the container has been previously opened or tampered with.</p> |
