PURPOSE:To install an air bag correctly by arranging an air bag lid opened by a developing air bag while closing an air bag passing opening of an instrument panel and a bracket to install this on the instrument panel so that a position can be adjusted. CONSTITUTION:An air bag passing opening 5 is arranged in an instrument panel 1 having an air bag module 3 inside of it, and an air bag lid 17 to block up this is installed in a panel body 7 through a bracket 31. The second and the third long holes 43 and 51 are arranged in a support plate 35 and a lower fixing plate 49 of this bracket 31, and are fixed to upper and lower projecting parts 13 and 15 of the panel body 7. A pin 29 of the air bag lid 17 is fitted in a locking recessed part 65 of a lid lock 63 of the bracket 31, and a support part 25 is fixed to a support fastening part 57 of the bracket 31. Thereby, a position of the air bag lid 17 to the instrument panel 1 can be adjusted by using long holes 27, 43 and 51, so that an air bag can be installed correctly. |
