NAVIGATION SYSTEM WITH HORIZONTAL ROTATING FLOAT AND HORIZONTAL FIXED WIND RECEIVING MEANS

PURPOSE:To provide a navigation system with a horizontal rotating float for setting the course of a sailing body and a horizontal fixed wind receiving means for running the body and preventing it from being upset by strong wind. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of horizontal rotary floats 20 holding a cross-shaped chassis 10 are arranged so as to rotate freely. A sail or metal-made equally hardening blade as a horizontal fixed wind receiving means is fixed to the chassis 10 in the horizontal direction so as to turn half freely and fall or incline upon strong wind to prevent a ship from being upset. A float direction control means 40 controls the flats 20 to turn horizontally and the course of the ship is set mainly in the same direction with the five bodies 20. Water power generation means are provided at the floats 20 while an individual load increasing/ decreasing means for increasing or decreasing the respective loads is arranged to provide a difference between power generation loads, thereby promoting the horizontal rotation of navigation device itself and correcting the direction.
