PURPOSE:To obtain wire rod for audio equipment wiring capable of improving the transfer characteristics of audio signals contg. many frequency components by constituting it of macrocrystalline wire rod in which the grain size of oxygen- free copper having specified oxygen content is formed into specified macro one. CONSTITUTION:The crystalline grains of oxygen free copper wire rod contg. <=50ppm oxygen are formed into macro ones so as to regulate the average grain size into at least 0.4mm. By the wire rod for audio equipment wiring constituted of the same macrocrystalline wire rod, impurities such as cuprous oxide preventing the faithful reproducing of sound and the formation of the crystalline grains into macro ones are eliminated, furthermore, the crystalline grains are formed into macro ones and the boundary density in the longitudinal direction is thinned to extremely reduce the capacitive reactance caused by the grain boundaries. In this way, the phase deviation and vibration damping to signals contg. many frequency components are made uniform to realize sound of high quality. |
