PURPOSE:To obtain material having properties substitutable for asbestos by a method wherein the material concerned is produced by at least one in the group consisting of metal oxide, metal hydroxide and metal hydroxide oxide is firmly fixed to cured resin formed matter. CONSTITUTION:By bringing the mixed liquid of metal salt and solvent in contact with cured resin formed matter, at least one selected from the group consisting of metal oxide, metal hydroxide and metal hydroxide oxide is fixed onto the surface of a formed matter. The cured resin formed matter is the cured formed matter of thermosetting resin and thermoplastic resin. The shape of the cured resin formed matter is not specified and practically film, plate and granule are used. The metal of the metal oxide, metal hydroxide and metal hydroxy oxide to be fixed to the cured resin formed matter is at least one in the group consisting of Al, Si, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Mg and Ca. |
