PURPOSE: To provide a new method for applying static electricity dissipating characteristics to a recycled thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION: A discarded thermoplastic resin is divided to be dipped in a salt bath only for a predetermined time and the treated regenerated thermoplastic resin has a resistivity of about 10<5> -10<12>Ω/square. A treated thermoplastic resin having static electricity dissipating characteristics capable of being re- processed into various useful matters is also included.
