<p>PURPOSE: To reduce a printing time without increasing the number of line memories by printing read image data by predetermined bit columns while having heat generating times respectively different by predetermined bit columns. CONSTITUTION: A data correcting part 31 corrects the image data to be printed inputted from a frame memory by the control signal CTL 1 outputted from a system control part 33. The line memory 32 of a data memory means stores the image data corresponding to one line inputted from the data correcting part 31 in the address outputted from an address generator 35 and reads the stored data to output the same. A multiplexer 34 selects 8 bits capable of expressing 256 gradations outputted from the line memory 32 by predetermined bit rows by the selection signal SEL outputted from a system controller 33 to output them. When the data outputted from the multiplexer 34 is inputted, a thermal printing head 36 generates heat for respectively different heat generating times to perform printing.</p> |
