PURPOSE:To execute stamping process without depending on manpower by a method wherein a machine for processing the stamping is so constructed that sheets thrown into a sheet housing box are fed one after another to a sheet receiving body and after stamping is made to the sheet on the sheet receiving body by operation of a stamping device, the sheet is taken out with the sheet receiving body inclined. CONSTITUTION:As the machine described herein is put in operation, a shuttling driving body 10 is driven upward and a sheet receiving body 8 is put in horizontal position. While the machine is kept under such state, a plurality of postcards H are placed in a sheet housing box 1. As a sheet detector 11 detects the placed postcards, a feed roller 4 is turned counterclockwise and the postcards are fed, being caught between rollers 6 and 5. The postcard is then fed over the sheet receiving body 8 by operation of a rotary feeder 12. Operation of the rotary feeder 12 is stopped when the front end of the postcard is detected by a position detector 14. At the same time, a stamping device 15 is driven and a postmark is imprinted with a stamp 15b on the postcard. After imprint of the postmark, the shuttling driving body 10 is lowered, and the postcard on the inclined sheet receiving body 8 is dropped into a sheet receiving box 20. |
