PURPOSE: To smoothly guide a strap and to impart adequate tensile strength to a cable tie by forming a pawl part at a strap positioning hole in a head part for locking the strap part, and forming a strap guide ramp part near the pawl part. CONSTITUTION: This cable tie 10 comprises a head part 12 and a strap part 14. A plurality of teeth 16 are formed on the strap part 14. A strap positioning hole 18 is formed in the head part 12 by an outer wall 20, both side walls 22, 24 and an inner wall 26. A plurality of projection part 28 are formed on the flat top surface of the cable tie 10 to facilitate grasping of the strap part 14. A pawl part 30 is projected from the strap positioning hole 18 and is freely vibrationally attached to the inner wall 26 of the head part 12 via a hinge part 32. A strap guide ramp part 34 is formed near the pawl part 30 to guide the end 40 of the strap part 14 and cooperate with the pawl part 30 to ensure adequate tensile strength. |
