PURPOSE:To realize the forward/reverse rotation of a main shaft, reduce the parts number during the manufacturing, eliminate the defective assembly, and increase the range of applicability in a spindle device using a magnetic fluid bearing. CONSTITUTION:Four recessed parts 16 which are alternately formed on either of the bearing surfaces 3a of a thrust bearings 3 at an equal interval in the circumferential direction are formed symmetrically in the circumferential direction with the center surface C3 in the respective circumferential directions passing through the center of axis as the reference. |
