PURPOSE:To provide an analgesic anti-inflammatory drug remarkably improved in analgesic action and anti-inflammatory action, reduced in side effects and remarkably useful for clinical application. CONSTITUTION:This medical composition contains ibuprofen, peony and glycyrrhiza. The weight ratio of peony is 0.4 to 20, preferably 1 to 10 based on 1 ibuprofen on crude drug base. The weight ratio of glycyrrhiza is 0.3 to 20, preferably 2 to 10 based on 1 ibuprofen on crude drug base. The weight ratio of peony to glycyrrhiza is (3:1) to (1:9) on crude drug base. Since this medical composition contains peony and glycyrrhiza in combination with ibuprofen, the analgesic action and the anti-inflammatory action are synergistically improved. |
