PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition useful for atopic bronchial asthma, having excellent treatment of wound, prevention and improvement in chapped skin, comprising a component of a plant of the family Meliaceae, showing solubility in an organic solvent having middle polarity. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprises a component of a plant of the family Meliaceae such as Neem (Melia azadirachta) showing solubility in an organic solvent having middle polarity such as benzene, ethyl ether, chloroform, methylene chloride, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate or acetone, a monohydric or polyhydric alcohol such as methanol, ethanol, 1,3-butylene glycol or its mixture. The amount of the active ingredient blended is preferably 0.1-5.0% based on the composition. |
