摘要 |
PURPOSE:To prevent generation of abnormal heating in a heat engine power generation system in a pressure shell for deep water using radio isotope (RI) as its heat source by the use of a heat exchanger of a simple structure as well as heat pipes upon failure of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A high temp. side heat pipe 20 for emergency use connected to a heat source 1 through a shielding valve which opens only when the temp. of a RI heat source I is at a certain level or more and a low temp. side heat pipe 21 for emergency use connected to a sea water heat radiation part 17 are arranged in a double cylinder form. To the annular gap formed between both pipes 20, 21 a heat exchanger 22 filled with a low heat conduction material such as helium gas is connected, thereby forming an emergency waste heat radiation device. |
