PURPOSE:To provide a motor scooter in which troublesome works of cleaning and replacing air cleaner element are reduced, which is embodied in a simple structure, and which presents lesser air resistance in inhalation. CONSTITUTION:A motor scooter 1 is so structured that the body frame 2 between a handle 9 and seat 61 is bent downward, low floor foot rests are provided between the handle 9 and seat 61, and a unit swing engine 13 is installed below the seat 61 and behind the foot rests. The front periphery of this body frame 2 is enclosed with a front cover 63 while the body frame 2 periphery under the seat 61 is surrounded by a rear cover 62, and the body frame portion between the front and rear covers 63, 62 is covered with a foot rest cover 73 so that a substantially closed space A is formed which is in communication with the outside by the upper part of the front cover 63 with the foot rest cover 73 and front cover 63. Through air introducing pipings 92, 91, the rear part of this space A is in communication with the transmission case 17 and/or air cleaner 28. |
