PURPOSE: To provide an ink cartridge capable of almost perfectly using up the ink in a flexible bag. CONSTITUTION: An ink pressure controller is used within a flexible ink bag for a replaceable or refillable ink cartridge. This controller consists of a bow- shaped spring 60 constituted so as to have substantially linear force/deflection characteristics and a pair of side plates 40, 50 compressed into a sufficiently flat shape and minimizes the amt. of residual ink after the ink is used up from the cartridge by printing and can be produced from one piece or two or more indivisual pieces.
