<p>PURPOSE:To provide a vehicle speed display device by which caution to vehicle speed can be recalled effectively to a driver having a paralyzed vehicle speed feeling in a vehicle speed display device to change display to two or more colors according to a vehicle operating condition. CONSTITUTION:Vehicle speed data N is read in (100) from a vehicle speed sensor. Average vehicle speed Nave at prescribed time (t seconds) before this time processing is calculated (110). Display data to show a display pattern preset to vehicle speed to be displayed is read out (130). Nave-N is compared with a prescribed identification value N0, and deceleration at present time is calculated (140). When the deceleration is small, normal display is carried out (150), and when the deceleration is large, color changing display is carried out to recall caution to a paralized vehicle speed feeling.</p> |
