PURPOSE:To provide a method for fixing carbon dioxide in waste gas by which the amt. of carbon dioxide discharged can be reduced in a flue of a thermoelectric power station, etc., discharging a large amt. of carbon dioxide. CONSTITUTION:Gaseous N2 and gaseous CO2 contained in waste gas are mixed with gaseous H2 in a mixer 1 and the resulting gaseous mixture is introduced into a reaction tube 2 packed with a catalyst contg. Fe and Cr to reduce the carbon dioxide in the waste gas. |
