PURPOSE:To provide a turn stop mechanism for shaft member, with which rattles of the shaft member can be adjusted easily. CONSTITUTION:A steering shaft 5 for rear wheels is accommodated in a housing H movably in the axial direction, and relative rotation of this steering shaft 5 to the housing H is restricted. A turn stop member 11 fixed to the housing H and consisting of a resin having self-lubricativeness is fitted to the flat surfaces 5a, 5b of the steering shaft 5. A screw member 12 is screwed into the housing H, and a preload is given to the turn stop member 11, and thereby the contacting pressure of member 11 with the flat surfaces 5a, 5b is adjusted, and rattles of the shaft 5 in the circumferential direction are adjusted. |
