PURPOSE: To produce a linear for a fiber or plastic floor and wall not containing a latex, PVC and a plasticizer. CONSTITUTION: A powder mixture consisting of a thermoplastic polymer 100 pts.wt., a filler 0-100 pts.wt., a foaming agent 0.5-7 pts.wt. and an auxiliary agent 0-30 pts.wt. is sprinkled over the foundation layer present under a foamed layer formed later in an amt. corresponding to desired thickness and melted at 70-110 deg.C and smoothed between smooth rolls and foamed at 120-200 deg.C.
