PURPOSE:To offer a stacker crane capable of making a minute control of crane traveling speed and acceleration and deceleration in accordance with the weight of a load carried on an elevating base and making efficient transport according to the weight or the load. CONSTITUTION:This stacker crane 1 is equipped with a detecting means, which detects the weight of a load carried on an elevating base 4 of the crane 1, and a speed control means which makes the crane 1 travel fast when the weight of the load detected by the detecting means is light and makes the crane 1 travel slow when the weight of the load detected by the detecting means is heavy. |
