PURPOSE:To provide a molded article which is made of a liq.-crystalline polyester resin compsn., has a highly smooth surface exhibiting a high adhesive strength when metallized, and is excellent in heat resistance, soldering resistance, and moldability. CONSTITUTION:A molded article is obtd. from a liq.-crystalline polyester resin compsn. comprising 100 pts.wt. liq.-crystalline polyester resin, 10-150 pts.wt. silicate contg. at least one element selected from those of the group 1A and 2A of the periodic table, 0-60 pts.wt. inorg. fibrous matter having a number- average fiber diameter of 15mum or lower and a number-average fiber length of 200mum or lower, and 0-50 pts.wt. alkaline earth metal carbonate under such a condition that the sum of the silicate, the fibrous matter, and the carbonate is 10-200 pts.wt. The article is treated with an aq. soln. contg. an alkali metal hydroxide as the main component, then with an aq. soln. contg at least one mineral acid as the main component, and with an aq. soln. contg. an alkali metal hydoxide as the main component. |
