<p>PURPOSE:To minimize an absorbing device and to decrease the amt. of an absorbent used when acidic gas is removed from a mixture gas by using methyldiethanolamine as the absorbent, by using a lower-alkylpiperazine as an absorption accelerator. CONSTITUTION:When acidic gas such as CO2 and H2S gas is absorbed and removed from a mixture gas such as coal gas, synthetic gas, coke oven gas, petroleum gas, and natural gas by using methyldiethanolamine as an absorbent, a lower-alkylpiperazine is used as an absorption accelerator. This lower- alkylpiperazine is a piperazine deriv. having one or two lower alkyl groups of 1-4 carbon number as substituents in heteroring, and for example, methylpiperazine is used. The alkylpiperazine shows a significant accelerating effect for absorption of acidic gas by methyldiethanolamine. Its effect is far more excellent than a conventionally-known absorption accelerator.</p> |
