PURPOSE:To enhance the quality properties of a ferrite core by adding zinc oxide and manganese oxide or carbonate to an aqueous solution which contains ferric chloride, and spraying and calcinating this slurry. CONSTITUTION:Iron is added to 15 to 22% HCI aqueous solution obtained as hydrochloric acid pickling waste liquid for steel plates or the like and 50 to 100g/l iron chloride aqueous solution so that Fe ion equivalent amount in the aqueous solution may approach Cl<-> equivalent amount. Then, at least one type of manganese oxide or carbonate is injected into this aqueous solution so that the Fe:Mn ratio in the aqueous solution may be a specified amount ratio and controlled so that the metal ion equivalent amount in the aqueous solution may be virtually identical to the chlorine ion equivalent amount. Then, the slurry solution obtained by injecting Zn into the solution is sprayed into a spray calcinating operation so that it may be oxidized and calcinated. Microadditives are added to the thus obtained composite oxide powder and mixed and molded and then sintered at a high temperature in calcinating furnace. This construction makes it possible to obtain a composite oxide which minimizes the vaporization of P contents and zinc portions. |
