PURPOSE:To provide a video having extremely high quality in a state where the periphery of an LCD is inconspicuous to a user by making the optical system of a display device of head mounting type a back projection type, and to prevent the user from feeling troublesome because adjustment is only focusing. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with an optical system having a light source 40, the LCD 41 which transmits light from the light source 40, a reflector 43 reflecting the transmitted light from the LCD 41, a screen 44 on which reflected light from the reflector 43 is formed into an image from a back side, and a lens 45 deciding the image-formed position by the transmitted light from the screen 44; and a member for attaching a device to a head which holds at least two optical systems corresponding to right and left eyes. |
