<p>PURPOSE:To produce a toner enhanced in fixing strength by setting the temp. as a kneading condition when the toner is produced. CONSTITUTION:The mixed toner materials are charged into a kneader from its hopper 1 and kneaded to produce a toner. The screw 3 as an extruding mechanism provided in a cylinder 2 is rotated to successively introduce the materials into the cylinder 2, the cylinder 2 is heated to a specified temp., and the materials are kneaded and finally discharged from a discharge port 4. The heating temp. of the cylinder 2 is set so that the temp. of the kneaded material discharged from the discharge port 4 is lowered. In this case, the temp. of the cylinder 2 is set within >=20 deg.C of the temp. T of the discharged material. The kneaded material is cooled, then crushed and classified into the specified grain diameters to obtain the desired toner.</p> |
