PURPOSE:To set plural attributes concerning the document storage system. CONSTITUTION:Document attribute managing parts 41-43 are prepared for each attribute to be specified, plural links 44 are set to the document attribute managing part coincident with the set attribute for one document, a place for storage in a storage part is automatically decided according to the attribute and further, when retrieving the document of an editing object, the documents are classified according to the set attributes corresponding to a retrieval mode set by a user, listed up and displayed for the user. Thus, the storage position of the document to be stored in a document processor can be easily classified, and index retrieval can be easily performed. |
