PURPOSE:To execute desired character modification of a prescribed character- string by setting modifying information of an input character-string by an information setting means, based on each character modifying information stored in a first information storage means and a second information means. CONSTITUTION:An input buffer 6 stores temporarily character data inputted from an input device 2, and to the character data stored in the input buffer 6, modifying information determined by a modifying information comparing arithmetic part 8 is added, and it is stored in a document buffer 5 through a character editing device 3. The modifying information comparing arithmetic part 8 compares and calculates modifying information of a character stored in an input character modifying information store part 7, and modifying information in a character input position extracted from document buffer 5. Subsequently, modifying information on character data inputted newly is detected. Accordingly, since an arithmetic mode is provided between existing modifying information and inputted modifying information, variegated modifying information can be realized easily at the time of setting a character. |
