<p>PURPOSE:To enable reduction of the concentration of NOx in an exhaust gas by regulating the exhaust gas content ratio in air for combustion by providing an air flow rate regulating means in an air supply duct. CONSTITUTION:The title boiler has an air supply duct 14 for supplying air and an exhaust duct 12 for exhausting a combustion gas and is so constructed that part of an exhaust gas is recirculated through a pipe 13 for recirculation of the exhaust gas having an exhaust gas damper 10 from the exhaust duct 12, mixed with the air supplied from the air supply duct 14 and supplied as the air for combustion to a boiler combustion chamber 4. In this low-NOx boiler, a suction damper 15 for regulating an air flow rate is provided in an air flow- through part of the air supply duct before mixing with the exhaust gas.</p> |
