PURPOSE:To provide the document editing device for reading a format of a sentence, and displaying it as ruled line information on a screen. CONSTITUTION:By a scanner 16 for reading a segment, a coordinate determining device 17 for recognizing the read segment, a rule line buffer 18 for storing the recognized segment as a ruled line, and a sticking means for calculating an interval of the segment and sticking it as format information to a sentence, a format of the sentence is read, and displayed as ruled line information on a screen. |
