PURPOSE:To prevent breakage caused by an operation temperature a operation time of cells constituting a stack of a plate type solid electrolyte fuel cell as well as to fasten manifolds to supply and discharge reaction gas at the operation temperature in a high temperature atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A stack 10 formed by juxtaposing/laminating the side surfaces of cells having a square shape solid electrolyte plate in their slant posture in a horizontal direction with/upon each other, is loaded on a lower manifold stand 11 having fuel gas and oxidating agent gas supply manifolds 14 and 15 through the inclined surfaces on both sides of the lower part. On the other hand, an upper manifold stand 12 having fuel gas and oxidating agent gas discharge manifolds 18 and 19 are loaded so as to cover the inclined surfaces on both sides of the upper part of the stack 10, and the manifolds are fastened by dead weight of the stack or the manifold stands. |
