PURPOSE:To quickly decide the rotating direction of a motor without rotating the motor in the reverse direction by driving the motor by using a sensor at the starting time of the motor and driving the motor as a brushless motor at the steady time of the motor. CONSTITUTION:A motor 6 is started through a 120-degree conducting matrix 5b by mounting sensors 13 in the air cores of coils 4a and 4a1 and supplying the outputs +Us, Vs, and Ws of the sensors 13 to the sensor-ups 5a of a starting-time conduction control circuit 5. Namely, a clock detection circuit 2f switches the traveling contact pieces (a) of switching means 2g to c-contact sides by detecting the clock 2b having a phase phi when the clock 2b having the phase phi is outputted from a clock generation circuit 2a. At the steady time of the motor 6, the switching of the switching means 2g is controlled by using the control signal of the detection circuit 2f so that the traveling contact pieces (a) can be switched to fixed b-contact sides. |
