PURPOSE:To provide a method for sensing a water leakage in a bath furnace having drying and heating functions where no erroneous operation of sensing in a small amount of leaked water occurs in the case that water is leaked out of a boiler of a heater connected to a bath additional heating circuit during a hopper water draining and circulating water is reduced. CONSTITUTION:A timer is reset to a zero state and the count of the number of times of automatic water supplementing operation is also reset to a zero state for a predetermined time (for example, 64 hours) for every water discharging in hopper in a bath furnace having drying and heating functions. The number of times of automatic supplementing of water within the predetermined time is counted. Upon performing the predetermined number of times of automatic water supplementing operations (for example, twice) within the predetermined time, a sensing of a small amount of leaked water is carried out. |
