PURPOSE:To obtain a photovoltaic element and a manufacturing method thereof in which a p-n junction will not be destroyed when a tab is soldered, and the photovoltaic element can be modularized a superior yield. CONSTITUTION:An insulating layer 2 is formed inside or on the surface of a part of a crystal semiconductor layer 1 which is located below a part of a collecting electrode 3 which is to be soldered. The collecting electrode 3 is directly formed on the insulating layer 2, or is formed on the same with an amorphous semiconductor layer 4 interposed between them. |
