PURPOSE:To contrive high efficiency combustion due to the increase of the luminance of flame as well as low-NOx combustion due to the decrease of the temperature of the flame by a method wherein a furnace body is provided with two sets of burners provided with an air preheat accumulating body and a fuel preheat accumulating body respectively while these burners are burnt alternately through a switching device. CONSTITUTION:When a burner 6 in one side of a furnace body 1 is under burning condition, exhaust gas is branched to the air preheat accumulating body 3 and a fuel preheat accumulating body 5 of the other side, then, is joined again so as to be discharged through a switching device 8, a flow rate regulator 9, a suction blower 11 and an exhaust gas treating device 13. When the flowing direction of air for combustion is changed by the switching device 8, the air for combustion is passed through the air preheating body 3. On the other hand, when a switching valve 14 is switched from the side of the suction blower 11 of one side to the side of supplying fuel while other switching valve 15 is switched from the side of the burner 6 of one side into the side of the other burner 7, fuel is heated in the fuel preheat accumulating body 5 of the other side to the high temperature of 1000 deg.C or high and, thereafter is mixed with the air for combustion, which is preheated in the air preheat accumulating body 3, and is burnt. |
