<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a binder resin to produce a toner excellent in offset resistance, fluidity, electrification property and storage stability by adding crystalline acrylate polymer to polymerizable monomers when polymerizable monomers are polymerized. CONSTITUTION:In the matrix 1 of the binder resin, crystalline acrylate polymer having 5000-500000 weight average mol.wt. and/or crystalline methacrylate polymer are included as domains 2. Namely, when these polymers are added to polymerizable monomers, these polymers are dissolved and uniformly mixed in the polymerizable monomers in the initial stage of polymn. and further precipitate in the binder resin matrix 1 to form domains 2 having clear boundaries from the binder resin during polymn. Thereby, these polymers are easily dispersed in the binder resin with high dispersibility and uniformity.</p> |
