摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the incident efficiency of laser beams, and to miniaturize a laser unit by installing a mount surface, on which a laser diode chip is placed, at a position higher than the light-receiving surface of a photodiode for a monitor for receiving and monitoring a laser emitted from the rear of the laser diode chip. CONSTITUTION:A laser diode chip 21 and a photodiode 22 are mounted on a lead frame pin 23, and sealed with a transparent resin 24. A lead frame pin 23 section, on which the laser diode chip 21 is mounted, is made higher than a section, on which the photodiode 22 is mounted. The photodiode 22 is put on the surface of the lead frame pin 23. The rear outgoing end face of the laser diode chip 21 and the light-receiving surface of the photodiode 22 are placed respectively so as to have relationship of vertical positions. A lead frame is positioned positively, thus improving productivity and accuracy.</p>
