PURPOSE:To enable the holding of internal data although a multiplication circuit is an analog type multiplication circuit by converting a voltage level into time, using the charging characteristic of a RC circuit, and registering the time as a clock number in a digital counter. CONSTITUTION:When one (Dk) of analog data D1 to Dn is selectively outputted by MUX in a state of R/W=0 and RV1 is made 1, the inversion input voltage of COMP lowers as C1 is charged and the COMP outputs a stop signal 1 at the time of (Dk-RV1)=0. The RV1 is inputted in a gate G at the same time when it is inputted in RC1, CNT starts the count of CLK and the final count value corresponds to the time till (Dk-Rv1)=0. When this count value is left as it is, new data D1 is selected and RV1=1 is made, the time corresponding to D1 is added. This becomes the time corresponding to the multiplying result of DKXD1, and the holding of this as the count value is equivalent to the holding of an arithmetic result. |
