PURPOSE:To obtain a stationary phase material suitable for separating or obtaining a specified substance, e.g. protein, enzyme, nucleic acid, sugar, in a biological sample by coating the surface of a solid state material with a pyrophosphate and/or a metaphosphate. CONSTITUTION:The material being used for stationary phase has a surface coated with a pyrophosphate and/or a metaphosphate. The solid state carrier material includes glass, ceramic, metal, resin, etc. In this case, the surface of the solid state carrier material is coated with a pyrophosphate or a metaphosphate and the pyrophosphate or the metaphosphate itself can be used as the solid state carrier material. The pyrophosphate or the metaphosphate may be a solid comprising crystallites grown enough to allow observation of diffraction peak through X-ray diffraction or a solid comprising crystallites too fine to allow observation of clear peak through X-ray diffraction. |
