PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of preventing a sudden noise made during an image forming operation from escaping while preventing temperature in the device main body from rising, and capable of minimizing noises. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is equipped with a shutter means 2 for opening/closing an opening part A formed in the device main body, a shutter drive means 3 for driving the shutter means 2, shutter-position detection means for detecting the position of the shutter means 2, and a control means for controlling the opening/closing of the shutter means 2 in accordance with the timing of a driving operation for each load required for the image forming operation. In this structure, because the opening part A is opened/closed by the shutter means 2 in accordance with the timing of a sudden noise, it can prevent the sudden noise from escaping outside the device main body while preventing temperature in the device main body from rising. Therefore, noises which are unpleasant to an operator, can be minimized. |
