摘要 PURPOSE:To measure sound absorption characteristics of hall chairs seated with high precision and ease. CONSTITUTION:A reflective enclosure (well) 12 is provided in a reverberation chamber 10, and within it, hall chairs 14 to be measured are arrayed in multiple numbers. Each hall chair 14 is seated with a dummy sound absorption body 16. The dummy sound absorption body 16 is configured so that it, by imitating a human body, has appropriate contact state to the hall chairs 14, sound absorption and pressurizing force. From a short sound generating device 18, the short sound for measurement is generated and emitted from a speaker 20 arranged in the reverberation chamber 10. In the reverberation chamber 10, a microphone 22 is disposed and the sound generated at the speaker 20 and reflected in the reverberation chamber 10, is collected with it. The sound collected with the microphone 22 is, through an amplifier 24, sent to a calculation device 26, far measurement of sound absorption characteristics for each frequency. The measuring result of sound absorption characteristics is outputted to a display and recording device 28.
