PURPOSE:To provide a vibrator for a piezoelectric vibration gyroscope capable of simply fixing the driving and detecting belt-like electrodes in the vibration direction and capable of being precisely assembled. CONSTITUTION:A linear plane section 8 is provided on the outer periphery parallel with the longitudinal direction of a cylindrical piezoelectric ceramic 10, a driving belt-like electrode 30 is provided on the linear plane section 8, detecting belt-like electrodes 50, 70 are formed at symmetrical positions with the direction of the driving vibration, and a common grounding belt-like electrode 60 is provided to form a piezoelectric vibrator. The vibration direction of fx' is accurately fixed in the direction connecting the center of the linear plane section 8 provided with the driving belt-like electrode 30 and the center of the cross sectional circle of the piezoelectric ceramic cylinder 10, and the detecting belt-like electrodes 50, 70 can be relatively simply fixed at the symmetrical positions with the vibration direction of fx'. |
